Surf’s up!

White sand beach , blue water, long break waves, add a perfect sunrise makes it the coolest place to wrap around and do your extreme outdoor adventure and enjoy the surf with the heat of the sun.

Ive been traveling around region 8 in the province of Samar and Leyte. Ive noticed that all the spots ive been are huge competitors in terms of tourism. I have participated a lot of skimboarding competitions too and i was amused of the skills the locals can do in skimboarding and surfing, they have executed tricks just like watching the pro’s riding those waves. Even convinced the local government to compete there local skimboarders and surfers abroad, and fortunately during the 1st Malaysian International Simboarding Cup last year was Dominated by the Philippine team represented by the local skimmers of Tanauan, Leyte the Skimboarding capital in the Philippines where skimboarding first started in this municipality and where you can find a 2 kilometers solid brown sand and just about 8 feet long break waves during its peek season.

Take a deep at Calicoan Island

Take a deep look at this island, truly a nature gift. Now we really can say life is so beautiful, this island is just getting started attracting tourists. A lot of developers are starting their investments to grow here, they even say that this island will be the next boracay or even top of it. But i can say this island would make a name of itself, imagine blue water, white sand and an A Frame 8 footer waves, truly a surfers paradise a perfect spot. Calicoan Island, with its sugary white sand beaches and azure blue waters and A frame wave , is located on the coast Guian  Eastern Samar, Eastern Visayas. The best of the island is the world class wave, touted as one of a surfer’s paradise.” It is often visited by pro surfers from around the world.
